Snapshots of My Weekend.

Hello Friends!
Hope you have all been enjoying the weekend as much as I have with my family. Mr W had a busy weekend with work obligations, but the little guy and I surprised him with a sunset picnic at the beach yesterday. It was a beautiful warm day, but it cooled down very quickly, and we were ready to pack it up just after sunset.
I try not to show my son's face (unless blurry) on the blog. It was a decision that Mr W and I made when I started blogging. It's sad. I wish I could share the great clear, full on shots, but we just feel it's best not to. Anyway, it was not actually as dark as they appear in the photo, but I like them in silhouette.
 Digging a hole!
I love this time of day at the beach.

The tide was perfect, and it was not windy at all!
I was watching a seal swim, play, and fish for his dinner out there, but I was not able to get a good shot of him.

My son made a Lego helicopter. Usually, my husband helps him. He did this one all on his own.

Goodwill chair I was pondering. A little paint, a little burlap or linen upholstery. Hmm...

Homemade Lemon Pasta Salad with Chicken. I had some tomatoes and sliced cucumber on the side.
I will be sharing this recipe this week. My friend Mia made it for me a few years ago, and gave me the recipe. Yum. It is delish, and so refreshing!
I broke out my "new to me" thrifty find textured chargers for lunch.
That's a wrap! See ya tomorrow!

    1. Thanks Sherry! I have not bought it yet, since I wanted to see how much it would be to re upholster. So, who knows if it will be there when I go back. Ya never know!
