Snapshots of my Week.

Well it was a busy week last week, and I am ready for more of the same this week. We are in the midst of a home repair, so I will be working around that for some time to come. I posted about it here, but stay tuned for updates as things progress.

Last weekend was my niece's confirmation, and a party afterward. I took these photos when we got out of the car to head to the party. I love how green the hills are, and all of those little yellow flowers are everywhere right now!

On a totally random note, I am loving my new sandals. I got them from my son for my birthday. I saw them at Macy's and mentioned that I liked them, and he told his daddy. (Good boy!) ;-)

Last week I shared a tiny bit about the fact that my son was adopted internationally. This photo was taken on the day I first held him in my arms. He is such a blessing, and is an amazing boy! I can't believe he's already five! He is growing up so fast!

I have been working on lots of projects, even though there is a mess going on in my house right now! I am working on both indoor and outdoor projects. I headed to the garden center last weekend, and loaded up my car. I am planting flowers this week, and have a tutorial coming up on an herb pot I made for the kitchen.

I also found some great things thrifting and at the flea market last week, so look for a post on that sometime this week!

I am off to Home Depot to pick up some more supplies for things that I'm working on outside.
