Last week I found a really unique silver urn at a garage sale, and I only paid $2 for it!
Then I got the idea to use it for a plant, and create a little vignette around it with things I already had.
I popped an ivy in the urn, and used some spanish moss around it.
I laid out some spindles that I bought recently, because I liked their color and texture. I also used a burlap placemat I made a while ago with a cloth napkin, and burlap napkin ring I made at the same time I did the placemats.
A vintage shaker rounds out the vignette.
So that's my new little vignette in the kitchen.
Hope you have a fantastic day!

ReplyDeleteThanks Lauren! It's fun to create little vignettes with "new" bargain things I tote home from garage sales, etc.

Great deal on the urn! I love your vignette but my favorite thing in it is that shaker. I don't know what I would put in it but I sure do love it.
ReplyDeleteAs you can tell, I have not figured out what to keep in it either, but I love the look of it too, so I just leave it empty for display.
